Calling all Flash Game Developers

There has never been a better time to create games with Flash! It's a place where hobbyist "bedroom" developers can create games enjoyed by millions (making money in the process). Commercial development teams continue to flourish, and truly innovative games are being built.

Flash Game Developer Magazine (FGDM) is a free digital publication focused on all areas of Flash game development. From design, coding, audio and graphics to sponsors, portals, promotion and sales. Beginners and seasoned pros alike should find something of interest.

Where do I get Issue 1? Join the mailing list. We'll email you when Issue 1 is ready. This list will only be used to tell you about new issues and events, so expect no more than 2 emails per month.

How much does it cost? It's completely free. You may see Google Ads to help cover the hosting fees, but the digital edition of the magazine will always be free.

I want to be involved! Great :) The magazine will only live with community involvement. There are many ways to help us out. Articles can cover any topic or complexity, and you will be supported from first draft through to publication.

Why not just build FGDM as a web site?
Over time we hope to evolve into a valued hub for Flash game development. But as FGDM is created by voluneers we needed to start small. From little acorns …
